I’ve been back from my trip for a week and a half. I’ve just been too tired to tackle blogging. I had one day off to try to get back on track and then worked 8 days. I love my job and I love going into work but when you’re that tired, it’s challenging.
I still have to finish posting about our “Wonderful Woolly Weekend – Sunday”.
I’m back to my regular un-schedule now – back to shifts. I’m so happy. I realize that may sound odd to most people but I have so much more free time that way.
Today is catch-up-on-house-work day. I’m actually embarrassed about the condition of my house. Can you imagine?
The trip to China was very…. interesting. That’s what I’ve been telling people when they ask. China is like no other place I’ve ever been. I had this notion that Jacob and I would just float around effortlessly. Boy was I wrong! Our first challenge came the night we landed. How about that for a start. The excitement of being in China was quickly overtaken by “OMG, this isn’t our hotel!” When you’re in a strange place, you’re lost, and no one speaks either of the languages you know, it’s hard not to panic! We got through it though and it was an adventure for the books. Here are a few pictures. I won’t put too many because I haven’t had a chance to go through them… and I really need to clean the house today.
