One for me… one for Christmas.

I was going to start my Wurm but decided I should work on some of my Christmas gifts first.  I figure, one gift, one small project, one gift… and so on.

It’s not too bad.  I’m makint a pair of Fibre Trends felted clogs.  They really don’t take long if you have some quiet time.  There’s a lot of counting involved.  So, don’t try to work on these if you’re babysitting your girlfriend’s three kids!

Off to work this weekend.  Probably won’t get in a log of knitting.  That irritates me.  I wish I had more time to knit these days.  The money sure is nice though…. I guess I’ll stop complaining.  Some people don’t have a job and I have two.

Clark v.2

I decided to call Jacob’s beanie “Clark”.  I don’t know why.  It just came to me and it sounded like a good name.

I ended up making another one and it turned out way better.

He’s a little bit funny my son…

Either way, I’m working on the pattern for the good version right now.  I’ll put it up on my Ravelry, in case anyone actually wants to make this.

I get to make something else now.  I think I’ll start my Wurm.

Until next time.

Next…

Update:  I now have 40 things in my Ravelry queue.  I just can’t stop.  I see things that are nice and I want to make them!

I finished Jacob’s beanie.  Hope he likes it.  I might make another… just because.  I need to write down the pattern.  I should really learn to take notes when I make things.

Pretty cute ha?

Tonight, I have to graft the toe on my Road to NYC Socks.  I’ve been neglecting them.

After that, I’ll be starting another hat but for me this time.  It’s called Wurm.  It’s really cute and it’s a free download on Ravelry.

Ciao.  I’m working all weekend.

Ravelry Rocks!!!

So, I finished my brother-in-law’s Cobblestone.  Then, I finished my February Lady (the finishing touches – buttons, etc.).

Yesterday, I finished a camera case for my father – a felted one that I had to make twice because the first one was waaay too big.

I have the toe to graft on my “Road to NYC socks” and then I have no projects.

EEEEEK!!!

I know I have some Christmas knitting to do but, I still have over two months.  Come on!  I’m faster than that.  Piece of cake!  (I might eat my words come Christmas Eve…).

In the meantime, I’m looking for some small, quick & fun project.

I started looking on Ravelry and I just keep adding things I want to make!  I have 35 items in my queue!  Most of the patterns I find are free.  The ones that are not free are only about $5.00.

If I actually wrote down some of the patterns for the things I “wing”, then maybe I could make a few bucks too???

All that to say that if you knit or crochet, you must sign up!  I have the link on the left side of this screen.

I’ve started Jacob’s tuque – beanie style.  He asked me to make him something again.  I’m a little sceptical ’cause he didn’t wear the socks I made for him earlier this year.  I’ll make it for him, of course.  I’m just playing with colors for now.
