I can’t believe how fast September went.  I’m not actually sure I even saw summer this year!

I also can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve posted.  Yikes.  Been busy…

Yesterday was my 29th birthday….  NOT!  It was my 33rd.  It’s ok though.  I’m not freaking out.  It was the best birthday I’ve had in a long time.  I was surrounded by the people I love and got lots and lots of phone calls.

Mom took me out for lunch and Scott took me out for dinner.  Woohoo.  (I ate too much yesterday!)

I also got these:

They’re my favorite!  Thanks Scott… you’re a real Prince 😉

My birthday made me miss my grandmother.  She always used to call.  At the end, she called a few days early though.  Hihi.  What a cutey-pie.  (Miss you Memère).

I haven’t been doing a lot of knitting this week.  My bro-in-law’s Cobblestone is getting there.  I’ve got the whole body done and one sleeve.  I still have three months so… I think I’m good.

My sister and I are heading to New York City for four days.  I can’t wait.  I’ve already booked our Sex & the City Tour.  (For some reason I feel guilty about booking it for Sunday.  It seems wrong to do this kind of tour on the day of the Lord!  Hahahahah.)  Other than that, we have NO plans whatsoever.  We got an apartment on Madison Avenue, which is one block from Central Park.  Maybe we’ll run around the Resevoir?  Who knows.  I want to walk around Brooklyn and then maybe, if we have time and my sister’s up for it, I’d like to hit Coney Island (see the “freaks” that I’ll probably totally think are really awesome with their tattooed faces and piercings – or maybe that’s just in the movies).  I don’t even really know where that is in relation to Manhattan but, we’ll find it.

I hope I sleep tonight…

It’s freakin’ October?

Glad to hear you enjoyed your birthday this year! And yes, it is difficult to accept that there is one call not coming in from someone you treasured.

Enjoy NYC and take some pictures for me.
