Every once in a while, I get promos from Knit Picks and Interweave, etc. I almost always delete them now because I’m not good at controlling my impulse to buy books and fiber. In order NOT to spend money I shouldn’t spend on books and yarn/fiber that I really don’t need, I hit DELETE. But today, I looked. Am I ever glad.

I’m not going to purchase any hankies for now because I have white ones at home that I can dye. I’m thinking of these knit by the Yarn Harlot.
I’m almost done with the baby stuff. Can’t wait! I want to make grown-up things. Although baby things have a certain charm, and they knit up in no time, I’m in need of a project with some substance. This is next.
I should really consider finishing up my Tilted Duster. It’s been sitting there for over a year with only the sleeves needing to be sewn and blocking. Yikes!
All my courses are done for now. I did not pass my M2 driving test. There is no motorcycle in my near future so I’ve decided to simply try again next year. I did, however, do really really well on the handgun course. I’m just waiting on my paperwork from the GOV and then I’ll be applying for my licence to possess a firearm. Once I have that, I’m going handgun shopping. It’s odd to be writing that. Never thought. Funny how things turn out sometimes.
This weekend, I’m having an open house. I’m not really sure why the townhouse isn’t selling but if I don’t get any bites this weekend, I’ll be putting it up for rent. Life is too short to stress about money and I can’t afford to float two houses. I would rather have the money to travel. 😉
