I went into a very large yarn shop yesterday and only spent $23.00!  I couldn’t believe it myself!  That’s almost unheard of… ME and a yarn shop, not even walking out with a skein of sock wool????  What is this world coming to.

My rational was that unless I had a vision (or a plan if you will) for the said skein(s) of yarn, I wasn’t buying it.  Point finale!

So, I got this instead:

And it was knitting last night.  Diane read that I wanted to do some dyeing of wool and brought me this:

A dyeing only designated pot.  How awesome!  Thanks Di!

I read the Yarn Harlot’s blog this morning (see link on sidebar) and she was talking about card weaving.  So, naturally curious as I am, I had to check it out.  I went on Youtube and found this video: “Card Weaving“.   I think I just found a new craft I NEED to learn….  CRAP!

You know, I have 7 out of 14 days off for the time being.  Can anyone explain to me why I still feel like I don’t have enough time to do all the things I want to do?  I wanted to spin, knit and read today.  I don’t know if I’ll have time with all the things I have planned before I go into work tonight at 11:00 pm.

Today is such a beautiful day.  I can’t believe it’s 14 degrees on the 1st of April. I’m wearing my flip-flops and my windows are open.  Fantastic!  I love it – makes me happy.

Happy April Fools Day!  Did anyone play a trick on you?

You must be preparing for retirement. Even not working, there are not enough hours in a week to do half the stuff I would like to do.
By the way, I’m not checking that link on “card weaving”. I don’t have time to get interested in anything else!!!
