So, I finished that little sweater for my friend. I worked hard to get my FL done before the yarn show this past weekend but I was unsuccessful.
Jacob and I drove up to Waterloo (5 hours) after work on Friday. We talked the whole way!!! Can you imagine? My almost-15-year-old had that much to say to me.
Michelle and I headed to the Kitchner/Waterloo Knitter’s Fair on Saturday morning. This is the only picture I got of the show. I had good intentions.
Picture this times 30. There was a lot of yarn there. I did really well though. I went with $300. I actually only spent about $115.00! How awsome is that? I was so proud. Each skein of yarn has a project in its future.
When we got back from the show, it was a beautiful September afternoon so we decided to sit outside. I did this:
She needs blocking and buttons but she’s pretty cute no?
I took pics of the kids and Michelle’s back yard/urban farm.
We had such fun.
Sunday, tired as I was, I sat on my arse and worked on Berto’s Cobblestone.
You almost can’t see it there on my couch! I’m not quite sure about the color. I got some dye while I was in Waterloo and may attempt to make this sweater a little more earthy.
Well, it’s time for me to hang with my kid and my couch with a couple of episodes of Entourage (it’s awsome) and my new project.
Hi Mylene!
It has been a while since I was able just to sit infront of my computer and not search school things.
I love your FL sweater! It is so beautiful! And all the pictures from your friends house, it looks like a wonderful spot.
Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do in my reading 🙂

Well, I got to see the other pictures, so whatever you did worked. Have a good weekend. I’ll try to send some positive energy your way!
The pictures are great, but I can’t open the ones with the little box. How’s Berto’s sweater coming along?
