That’s what I’ve decided. I like my Korella just fine but, was absolutely dying to make Olive.
It’s been quite a week since my Memère died. I honestly didn’t think it would affect me so much. She was my last grandparent. I feel her loss.
Wall all the stuff to do last week and working all weekend, I’m so tired I can hardly stand it. I put on some tea, took some pictures, cleaned up a little, will write this post and then sit my arse down and watch a girl-y movie (Shopaholic). I think I need to sleep for 36 years. Maybe then, and only then, will I feel better.
I got to visit little Patrick on Friday. Man, is that kid ever cute! (Sorry about the phone pics… they don’t do him justice.)
I could eat him!!!!!!
The weather’s sort of been a little on the strange side too. Last week, it was this:
It was quite beautiful to see. I love the view here. I love that this is what I’m looking at when I’m making my coffee in the morning.
It rained earlier and then the sun came out and looked like this:
The contrast between the grass and the sky is pretty neat I think.
Bla, bla, bla… how boring ha? Well, sorry…
I also took pictures of some dead flowers before I threw them out.
I used to take pictures all the time. It was one of my favorite things to do. Now, I take pictures of my knitting – which is fine but less creative.
This is what my Olive looks like so far:
Well, those are my colors anyway. This yarn is like butter. I didn’t want to get the Isager alpaca so I went on Knit Picks (’cause they were having a sale) and got this baby alpaca. It’s lovely to work with and likely a fraction of the price.
I also have the new socks I’ve started. They’re my Purse Project (hereafter referred to as my PP).
I finally started the sequel to Friday Night Knit Club. Pretty good so far. Don’t laugh… I carry a really big purse!
I’m tired and must knit now.
Love those pictures. And lately, I’ve seen a whole lot of other gorgeous nature pictures that you took…once upon a time.
And yes, Patrick is ADORABLE !
Hello little fuzzy buddy 🙂
