I love books. I love the way they look, the way they smell… I’m a little strange. I also love office supplies. It’s a thing from when I was a little girl I think and my father used to take us to this office supply place that looked like it had shelves that could reach the sky. When you’re 6, 10-foot shelves are gigantic.
So, this would explain why I lovegoing to the library. I can walk out with as many books as I want and I know I won’t go home, look at my bank balance and feel guilty. (And, it smells good in there.) I buy books too – the ones I really love. I’ve also started getting books on CD. I live a little ways out of town so, it passes the time. I’ve read/listened to some really good ones like Life of Pi, some of the Harry Potter books, My Sister’s Keeper, Just Breathe, The Broker, The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Sunflower, and a lot more that I can’t remember off the top of my head. These were all really really good.
I dyed my hair really dark brown. I love, love, love it. I don’t have a picture to post though.
I made another pair of Bella’s Mitten’s for my sister’s friend Edyth. I don’t know if she has them yet but, I’m finished with mittens for now. My hairdresser ordered a pair so, I’m not totally finished. Plus, I have to make a pair for ME right?
My Korella’s coming along nicely. I’m hoping to have the front finished this week sometime so that I can get the back finished next week, knit the neck and sleeves and be done with it. I want to start my February Lady something awful. Then, I ordered yarn for another project. Shhh. Don’t tell anyone – they’ll give me shit for buying more yarn when I have 6 big bins in my “yarn closet”. (I just didn’t have enough for this project – plus it called for alpaca and I don’t have any.)
Check it out – this is my next-next project: it’s called OLIVE.
Then I want to make this: it’s called PUCKER (I think).
It’s going to be a busy summer.
Best start getting ready for work now. What a bummer. I bet if I didn’t have to go to work today, I could finish Korella’s front.
That’s the Olive sweater I was looking at on Ravelry. Guess I hadn’t explained so well. Anyways, it looks great. Good luck with it.
