Does anyone else get bummed out when they get back from a holiday somewhere beautiful? Sometimes I feel like it’s just me.
How would you feel if you were HERE last week:
and now you’re back to work, back to housework, laundry, paying bills, etc. It was so beautiful in El Salvador. The people were friendly and the weather was 35+ the whole time. It rained for about 10 minute while we were in a bus on Sunday. That’s it!
I thought I would have time to post but we went on so many day trips that it was difficult to find the time. Guess what? They had wireless! I could have brought my new laptop. You could pay to use their computers if you wanted but, it was either 30 minutes of 60 minutes. What if I had only needed 12 minutes? What if I wanted to go on at 9:26 p.m. but they were closed? Mind you, it was only $3.00 USD for a half hour and they were open the two times I went on to check if everything was ok back home (with my grandma). I suppose I shouldn’t complain.
All in all, it was a fabulous trip.
I’m already looking forward to next year. I’m thinking Panama…
So, seeing now as I only have the El Salvador socks to finish, I should probably get started on that christening gown ha?
I should be more worried about catching up on my sleep! Our flight landed at midnight on Monday/Tuesday. We weren’t back home until close to 2:00 a.m. I worked all day yesterday and stayed up late finishing my book. It was sooooooo good!!! Friday Night Knit Club. If you haven’t read it, read it! Now I have to get the next one. I think I’ll wait for the soft cover.
It’s time to hit the road. I’ve got a big night of doing nothing planned.
