This week didn’t get better. It actually managed to get worse. I’m really just glad it’s over.
Sometimes things happen when you least expect them – you realize something or something changes in your heart and in your head. And sometimes, by the time you realize all this, it’s too late and you lose something you should have known was very dear to you.
So, I’m dealing with a loss and it really sucks. It won’t be easy. But, on the bright side, people are coming out of the woodwork to be there for me and that makes me feel really good. I’m working on the whole asking and accepting help thing. It’s not easy but the results are heart-warming.
I haven’t even contemplated knitting in two days. I’m looking forward to going home and getting back on that horse. I have big plans.
Yesterday, my knitting certification level one came in the mail. Now I can work on that and work towards becoming a “Master Knitter”. How funny is that? “Hi, my name is Mylène and I’m a Master Knitter.” I think it’s hilarious but, of course, I’m going to do it anyway.
This weekend, aside from doing some work around the house (I’ve been too bummed out to even do my dishes), I’ll be finishing my Korela and hopefully, starting on my February Lady. Youpi!
I think Jacob and I will get a couple of Alkatraz movies and chill the hell out.
I’ll post some pics of San Fran soon.
Life goes on…
