I can’t say that I’ve been knitting or spinning a lot in the last week. I’ve been working a lot though, which is really good!!! I was worried I wouldn’t have enough hours once my training in records was done but, so far so good!
It’s 85° F (that’s 29.4° C) in the house right now. The sun hasn’t even made it’s way to the West yet, which is where all my windows are.
I was contemplating some grass-cutting today but got up at 1:00 (pm, I worked nights) and looks really hot outside. My little thermometer says that it’s 36.5° in the shade! I think I’ll pass on that and watch some Knittingdaily TV instead.
It’s knitting tonight and we’re starting knit-alongs (KAL’s). I’m pretty excited about that. I know it’s not that exciting but, it really doesn’t take me much. We’re staring with this:

It’s a cute little hat for preemies that we’ll then pass on to the neo-natal unit at the children’s hospital in Ottawa. Cool ha?
Isn’t this baby the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?
So, that’s pretty much it for my exciting news.
Scott will help me put in my window A/C tomorrow so that I don’t melt. I guess that’s pretty exciting.
Knit Night tonight and Spin Day on Friday (at my house so I have to clean tomorrow too)! Woohoo.
