Michelle and the family showed up around the same time I did on Thursday. It was so great to see them. We didn’t get to hang much on Thursday night because I attended an award ceremony for work. Scott got another award. He’s always getting awards.
Michelle came to spinning with me on Friday morning and fell in love with my spinning friends. I suspect she felt like I did the first time I met them – in awe. They are older and wise and they know so much more than we do. It’s wonderful, fascinating and interesting.
Friday night, we went to Cannamore Orchard for the spooky wagon rides. (Photos at night with my phone – not great.)
We found this:
Wonder if it works?
They didn’t stay long enough – my friends. They left Saturday morning a little after I left for work. It was a blast regardless.
I spun this up:
And turned it into this:
I was off yesterday. I did about 1000000 loads of laundry and finished my Clapotis!
Only have to block it now.
I also dried some chocolate-peppermint leaves and this other plant that is apparently good for soothing migraines (both for making loose-leaf tea).
This morning, I skirted the rest of my Shetland. It got a little wet when the basement flooded but it was still smelly and pretty dirty. It’s now soaking in my tub.
It’s very dirty!
And smelly!
I can’t wait to spin it!
Oh, and the little pods I made? I was tagged in these photos on Facebook:
How cute is this little thing?
OH MY !!! What a cutie pie Lia is in that pod. Finally, we can see what it looks like on a real baby. And now, you can publish your pattern.
